AlllianceBernstein (AB) Australia recently announced two new hires for its Asia Pacific Consultant Relations team.

Christina Manonian has joined AB as Managing Director—Asia-Pacific Consultant Relations based in Melbourne. Christina has spent more than 18 years working at Franklin Templeton and Legg Mason in a variety of senior institutional client-focused, business development and consultant relations roles in Australia and in the United States.

Christina has taken over from Mark Williams, a 17-year veteran of AB, who is returning to AB’s London office, where he will take on the role of Managing Director within the UK Institutional Client Group.

At AB, Christina is responsible for managing the research and consulting relationships across the Institutional and Retail business channels for the Asia-Pacific region.

Also joining AB is Matt Ventura. Matt has been appointed to the role of Senior Associate—Consultant Relations and Business Development in Sydney. Matt is responsible for managing retail research house and private bank relationships across Australia. Matt joins AB from Magellan Asset Management where he was part of the business development team.

AB Australia CEO, Jen Driscoll said she is excited to welcome both Christina and Matt to the team.

“AB have strong ties within the research and consulting community, and we look forward to these continuing under Christina and Matt who both have extensive experience in managing such relationships,” Jen said.

Christina has said she is thrilled to join AB and share her experience working with consultants and clients across the Institutional and Retail segments.
