In January 2022, the Australian Equity Index fell 6.5% due to concerns around interest rate rises and the end of quantitative easing globally. At the same time, the AB Managed Volatility Equities Fund (Managed Fund)—MVE Class also fell and which resulted in the most disappointing month for the strategy since it was launched in 2014.
